The schedule is 4 days outpatient (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri), 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with on-call rotation (1:3) including weeknights and weekends (Fri 4:00 PM–Mon 7:00 AM). The patient population is adult/geriatric; CT license is required; local providers only; EPIC EMR on-site.

Practice Setting

• Schedule:
  • 4 days outpatient (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Clinic hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • On-call responsibilities included
• Call Schedule:
  • 1:3 rotation
  • Weeknight call
  • Weekend call: Friday 4:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM

Patient Population

• Adult and geriatric patients (primarily)

Case Mix

• Hematology: 60%
• Oncology: 40%
• Internal Medicine: 0%

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient hematology and oncology care
• Participation in tumor board
• Ordering tests and imaging
• Prescribing treatments

Practice Details

• Physician Team: 3 physicians (one on maternity leave)
• Advanced Practice Providers: 2 APPs
• Radiation Oncology: Available on-site
• Average Daily Volume:
  • Outpatient: 15-16 patients
  • Inpatient (rounding/call): ~1-5 patients
