Job summary

CHI Health in Omaha, NE seeks an experienced Hematology-Oncologist to join the Department of Medicine in collaboration with Creighton University Medical Center. The role involves clinical care in a high-volume system, active participation in clinical trials, and leadership within cancer center initiatives.

The candidate will be board-certified/eligible in Hematology-Oncology, hold a Nebraska medical license, and engage in teaching residents and students while advancing interdisciplinary research

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine & Hematology Oncology.
• Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in programmatic development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Educating Creighton University residents and medical students and conducting research with CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine.
• Opportunities for collaboration on clinical trials and translational research.
• Participate in CHI-wide Tumor Boards and cancer center leadership activities.
• AI-assisted cancer screening and integration with multidisciplinary teams.
