Job summary

Medicorp, Inc. is recruiting a BE/BC Hematology/Oncologist to join a new cancer center opened in 2023, located about an hour from Asheville, NC. The role is primarily outpatient (98%) with a 4-day option and a Call 1:3 arrangement routed through the oncology nurse line.

The team currently includes 1 physician, 2 PAs and 2 Radiation Oncologists, with EPIC as the EMR. Base salary is $450,000 plus wRVU, plus a comprehensive package including sign-on, relocation, Public Service Loan Forgiveness,

Qualifications

• BE/BC Hematology-Oncology certification required or in process.
• Experience in outpatient hematology/oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology/oncology care in outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with PAs and Radiation Oncologist and participate in clinic trials.

Hematology/Oncology: 1 hour from Asheville North Carolina

• Employed practice seeks BE/BC Hematology Oncologist to join their team at a new cancer center that opened in 2023
• Base salary: $450,000 plus wRVU
• Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm
• 4-day work week is an option
• 98% outpatient
• Call 1:3, first routed through oncology nurse line, physicians are never called in
• Caseload: 13-15 patients per day
• Join 1 physician, 2 PAs and 2 Radiation oncologist
• 2 new linear accelerators and 24 infusion chairs
• EMR: EPIC

• Diagnostics include: X-ray, CT, ultrasound, bone density, nuclear, mobile PET and Mammogram, MRI and Breast MRI
