Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist and Hematologist to join our Cancer Services Program at IU Health Arnett located in Lafayette, Indiana. Immediate openings with a future expansion planned for 2028 at a new cancer center under construction.

The role offers a balanced hematology/oncology mix, involvement in the Precision Genomics Program, on-site tumor boards, and opportunities in clinical research within a growing multi-specialty group.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology.
• MD/DO Indiana license or eligible.
• J1 Waiver (2028) and H1b Visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving patient care plan goals.
• Provides medical supervision of the interdisciplinary team and supervises residents and medical students.
• Participates in clinical research projects of interest.
• Remains current and professionally competent.
• Shares call responsibilities (1 in 4 weeks).
• Participates in medical audits, QA programs and peer reviews.
