Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Certification: ANCC certification or board certification in specialty practive.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) as required by the program.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the service standards and incorporates them into responsibilities.
• Coordinates and delivers comprehensive nursing care using nursing process.
• Collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement the care plan.
• Prescribes medications and therapies per NY state law and privileges.
• Ensures continuity of care across services, including home care and referrals.
• Provides education and serves as a resource for staff and patients.
