The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Clinical Research Assistant to support PIs in the Hematology department. You will review medical records, assist with patient consent, and help with data extraction and longitudinal tracking of therapy outcomes.

You will aid with data quality control, scheduling monitoring visits, participant screening and bio-specimen collection, and preparation of results for manuscripts.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Review medical records for study eligibility and data elements.
• Assist with patient consent and enrollment activities.
• Aid in data extraction and longitudinal tracking of therapy.
• Support data quality control and query resolution.
• Schedule and conduct monitoring visits.
• Screen participants, recruit, and collect biospecimens as needed.
• Compile research results for manuscripts and presentations.
• Communicate with collaborators to ensure data quality.
• Follow protocol design to ensure complete data collection.
• Assist with internal and external quality assurance; perform other duties as assigned by PIs.
