MedStar Health is seeking a general Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their existing team of experienced physicians at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and our BelAir campus (affiliates of MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute). Both of these cancer centers are accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, ensuring high-quality care for cancer patients. Practices are located in Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland, a hub for entertainment, art, and cuisine. Baltimore features a mix of urban and suburban communities and many highly rated educational opportunities.
The MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institutes are operated by MedStar Health with the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as its research base. The NCI designation recognizes our commitment to providing expert treatment for all cancer types. This collaboration ensures access to the latest treatments and experienced doctors throughout Washington, D.C., and Maryland. The practice focuses on bread-and-butter hematology/oncology, treating a wide variety of cancers.
The incoming physician will be part of a multidisciplinary team including breast surgeons, thoracic surgeons, surgical oncologists, neurosurgeons, medical oncologists/hematologists, radiation oncologists, and genetic counselors to provide outstanding community care. MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital is Magnet recognized, NAPBC accredited, and emphasizes patient and family-centered cancer care.

This position has a salary range of $450,000 - $550,000.
