The role offers a base salary range of $280,000 to $530,000 with potential bonus; board-certified or board-eligible candidates are welcome, and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Active (or eligible) New York medical license.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
• Strong communication skills and bedside manner.
• U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient practice, with inpatient/hospital involvement as needed.
• Oversee and coordinate care for infusion center patients.
• Collaborate with a hospitalist team on inpatient evaluations, follow-up, and treatment coordination.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff within the cancer center.
• Participate in tumor board, cancer committee, and Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation activities.
• Contribute to policies, staff education, and community outreach initiatives.
• Provide telephone triage and support for urgent patient needs.

The annual base salary range is $280,000 to $530,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
