Job summary

LocumTenens.com is assisting a large university hospital in New York with an inpatient hematology/oncology assignment. The clinician will provide inpatient hematology consult-only coverage on-site in New York, with a Thursday-to-Thursday AM schedule, seven days per week including weekends, and a 16-patient daily load.

Back-up call is 1:4, all documentation is through the Epic EMR. Board certification in Hematology and an active NY license are preferred, with prescriptive authority required for

Qualifications

• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is required.
• Active New York medical license with prescriptive authority preferred.
• MD degree and board-certified status required.
• Inpatient consult-only hematology coverage with a 7-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hematology consult-only coverage on-site in New York.
• Manage 16 patients per day.
