Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking an experienced hematology-oncology clinician for flexible outpatient coverage, with potential inpatient rounding. You will manage general hematology and oncology cases and perform bone marrow biopsies/aspirates if skilled.

The role offers 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour weeks, with weekend phone call duties that do not require on-site presence. Expansion coverage for 2 FTE slots is also expected.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have medical expertise in hematology and oncology.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with hematology/oncology procedures is preferred.

Job description

• 4 x 10-hour or 5 x 8-hour days per week,

Qualified candidates should possess relevant medical expertise, skills in hematology and oncology procedures, and the ability to work independently. Compensation ranges from $375.00 to $500.00 hourly, inclusive of base pay, overtime, call, and holiday pay. Benefits include paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a dedicated consultant. Additional details are managed through an online portal, and the assignment may extend beyond the initial term.
