Job summary

Essen Health Care is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Bronx team and provide comprehensive cancer care. We welcome physicians pursuing J-1 waiver sponsorship through Conrad 30 program.

The candidate will deliver cancer care with up-to-date approaches, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in research to improve patient outcomes in an underserved community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and determine cancer treatment plans.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient condition.
• Provide routine check-ups and follow-ups during treatment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Participate in clinical trials and research to advance oncology.
• Offer immunization and Botulinum toxin treatments as appropriate.
• Provide geriatric oncology care considering aging patients.
• Use radiography and other tools to monitor cancer progression.
• Provide wound care and support for healing in cancer patients.
• Stay current with oncology developments and adhere to best practices.

Education

MD or DO degree

Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology

New York State medical license eligible
