Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology coverage 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Manage 17 patients per day with 1 hour allocated for new patients and 20 minutes for follow-ups.
• Handle calls from nurses regarding patient concerns, chemotherapy on the day of service, and ED consults.
• Clinical trial participation available, including phase 2 and phase 3 studies, with co-located radiation oncology support.
