Comunidade Metodista is seeking a Hematology-Oncologist to join our Sarasota area team. The physician will manage cancer care, supervise a full care staff, and participate in hospital rounding and patient management.

The ideal candidate has oncology board certification, an MD/DO, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering patient-centered cancer treatment. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification in Oncology.
• At least 5 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monday through Friday, 8 to 5.
• Cover 5 local hospitals once every 3 weeks on the weekend.
• Patient split 50/50.
• See ~20 patients per day.
