Job summary

MaineHealth Cancer Care seeks a Hematologist to join the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at its Rockport location.

The successful candidate will work with colleagues in an established hematology and medical oncology practice affiliated with the MaineHealth Penobscot Bay Medical Center, participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards and pursuing subspecialty clinic development. Rockport is a rural site with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in oncology within an academic health system or academically-oriented private practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues in an established hematology and medical oncology practice.
• Evaluate and treat patients with malignant and benign hematologic conditions.
• Participate in subspecialty, system-wide multidisciplinary tumor boards and support development of subspecialty clinics.
• Rockport site offers relocation support and a competitive compensation package.
