MaineHealth Cancer Care is seeking a Hematologist to join the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, based at the MaineHealth Cancer Center and Maine Medical Center in Portland. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in an established hematology program to evaluate and treat patients with a range of benign and malignant hematologic conditions with opportunity for sub specialization. This is primarily a clinic based position with rotations to cover inpatient consultation and inpatient care of patients with acute hematologic conditions.Prior experience in benign and/or malignant hematology within an academic health system is preferred, although strong candidates in the early stages of their careers and current fellows will be considered. MaineHealth is a nationally recognized integrated care system that delivers highly coordinated, state-of-the-art, cancer and hematology care across a network that cares for over 8000 new cancer patients each year.
