Essen Health Care is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Hematologist to join our growing team. The Hematologist will diagnose, treat, and managing patients with blood disorders and malignancies.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology (ABIM) is required or eligible.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based medicine.

Responsabilités

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of hematologic conditions (anemia, clotting disorders, hemoglobinopathies, hematologic malignancies, etc.).
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, bone marrow biopsies, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, transfusion management, and anticoagulation therapy.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic medical records.
• Participate in call coverage as required.

Job Summary

• Valid New York State medical license (or eligibility).


• Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based medicine.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Pay: $250,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year

Salary may include bonuses and incentives
