Mass General Brigham seeks an on-site Hem/Onc Unit Coordinator to provide administrative support to clinicians and staff in an inpatient unit. You will coordinate patient flow with nursing, admissions, discharges, transfers, and maintain confidential information.
Responsibilities include clerical duties, greeting patients, scheduling, EMR data entry, coordinating with ancillary departments, and possible payroll/scheduling assistance. Role varies by department and weekend hours apply.
Provides administrative support to unit-based and hospital-wide clinicians and staff in an inpatient unit, functioning as the liaison between the patient, visitors and the clinicians. Expected to effectively organize priorities, complete tasks on time and to manage confidential patient information. Responsible for partnering with nursing to coordinate the day-to-day patient flow including communication to key players regarding patient admissions, discharges and transfers.
