Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Helper (Welder) for Greenville, TX to perform welding on industrial and construction projects, working with Foremen to meet safety and quality standards. The role includes unloading, organizing steel materials, erecting structural steel, and welding tasks on job sites; may assist with minor mechanical repairs and operate heavy equipment as needed.

Candidate should have at least 1 year of Iron Worker/Welder experience, knowledge of 3G/4G SMAW welding, a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Iron Worker/Welder.
• Experience with welding processes (3G, 4G, SMAW).
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures on site.
• Coordinate with Foremen to meet project goals.
• Unload, stack, and organize steel materials; erect structural steel.
• Perform welding tasks on construction sites.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for welding on industrial and construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of work. The Welder will work closely with the Foremen/Superintendent to ensure project goals are met. The role involves unloading, stacking, and organizing steel materials, erecting structural steel, and performing welding tasks on construction sites. Additionally, may assist with minor mechanical repairs or installations. Requires the ability to operate heavy equipment such as manlifts, forklifts, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safety
• Follow all safety policies and procedures on the job site.
• Attend daily safety meetings and toolbox talks with the crew.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards immediately.
• Ensure use of required PPE.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and material usage.
• Coordinate with other trades on the job site.
• Work with Foremen to troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure all welds meet required standards and specifications.
• Identify and correct any defects or deficiencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Iron Worker/Welder.
• Strong knowledge of ironworking and welding techniques, including layout and erection.
• Experience with a variety of welding processes (e.g., 3G, 4G, SMAW).
• Excellent safety record and a strong commitment to safety.
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to travel outside of AZ

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend stretch and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights.
