Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors in Spokane, WA, is seeking a dependable Helper / Stocker to support branch delivery operations. You will assist with safe handling of building materials from the warehouse to delivery locations, ensuring orders are accurate and products are neatly staged for customer sites.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance, forklift training or certification readiness, and adherence to safety rules. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in applicable building material products is preferred
• Ability to unload, transport and position all building materials as required
• Ability to follow all safe and applicable methods of transporting material from the delivery vehicle, by way of stairways, elevators and boom operations
• Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by ABC Supply Interiors to operate forklift equipment
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shift
• Ability to consistently lift and carry 250 lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Following all applicable safety rules and procedures
• Accurately distribute and place all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket
• Examines and records all material transported to and/or from the delivery site
• Verifies and records the quantity and type of building materials being handled
• Responsible for having the delivered product neatly placed and appearing as orderly and presentable as possible
• Cleaning up debris created by the delivery process and properly disposing of it before leaving the delivery site
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads
• Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned

ABC Supply Interiors delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.

**In accordance with local law, associates employed at locations in Seattle, Spokane, or Tacoma, accrue 1 hour of sick pay every 30 hours worked, starting after 90 days of employment. Up to 72 hours accrued time may be carried over into the next year
