Job summary

Laminate Technologies is seeking a Production Worker to support machine operators by performing material handling, cleaning, counting and stacking tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves inspecting pieces for defects, measuring for accuracy, and ensuring quality standards are met across multiple departments. Safety and teamwork are essential to daily operations and meeting production goals.

Responsibilities

• Be flexible to work in multiple departments and positions.
• Inspect workpieces for smoothness and defects; measure accuracy using rules or templates.
• Examine raw Woodstock for defects and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or with lifting tools.
• Count finished product to determine if orders are complete.
• Mark or tag identification on parts/totes.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Assist other machine operators by supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning areas.
• Maintain equipment and clean working areas.
• Record information such as products tested, meter readings, or dates/times of production processes.
• Follow safety policies including wearing all required PPE.
• Follow policies and SOPs/work instructions.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, team leaders and material handlers regarding production status.
• Maintain daily production sheets with correct task codes and totals.
• Assist in maintaining the work area (sweeping, trash, tools).
• Other duties as directed by your supervisor.

The Helpers - Production Worker is responsible for helping Machine Operators by performing duties that include pushing, trimming, holding materials or tools, cleaning, counting and stacking

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Be flexible to work in multiple departments and positions.
2. Inspect workpieces for smoothness, defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation using rules, templates, or other measuring devices.
3. Examine raw Woodstock for defects and verify conformance to quality standards.
4. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using lifting tools as required.
5. Count finished product to determine if product orders are complete.
6. Mark or tag identification on parts/totes.
7. Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
8. Assist other machine operators as needed such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.
9. Maintain equipment and clean working areas.
10. Record information, such as the number of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of production processes.
11. Follow established company and work area safety policies including the wearing of all required PPE's.
12. Follow established company policies, policies and rules outlined in Member Handbook as well as procedures required in the standard operating procedures/work instructions.
13. Maintains open communication with supervisors, team leaders and material handlers regarding production status (i.e. down time, material shortage, etc.).
14. Maintains daily production sheets utilizing the correct task codes for production time, down time, scrap, etc.; ensures that daily production totals are accurate.
15. Assist in maintaining work area (i.e. sweeping, emptying trash, return tools to proper location, etc.).
16. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.
