Job summary

MSS Solutions LLC is seeking a Helper Pipe Shop to assist in shop activities and support foremen on pipe fabrication projects. The role emphasizes reliability, readiness to learn, and adherence to safety standards in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, unloading materials, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with the team to meet project timelines. High school or equivalent required; background check and drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of HVAC or general construction.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have reliable form of communication.
• Must show up on time in the appropriate attire and professionally present yourself.
• Must bring your own hand tools; trade specific specialty tools will be required as time goes on.

• Hammer (sheet metal)

• Level
• Screwdriver
• Snips
• Crescent Wrench
• Ability to communicate clearly with Foreman and follow direction.
• Ability to show up on time ready to work.

• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time

Occasional sitting frequent stooping crouching kneeling balancing and climbing Constant standing walking reaching and gripping Vision abilities required for this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Must be able to talk and hear Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs maximum solo lift and constant lifting to 25 lbs placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification PDC Material Handling lifting from floor level to overhead with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and constant lifting up to 25 lbs placing the position in the very heavy physical demand classification PDC

Required Education

High School graduate or equivalent
