Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors, a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials, is seeking a dependable Helper / Stocker for our New Castle, DE location. You will support delivery of materials from the warehouse to jobsites, following safety rules and ensuring materials are handled and presented neatly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building material products is preferred.
• Ability to unload, transport and position building materials as required.
• Ability to follow all safe methods of transporting material from the delivery vehicle, including stairs/elevators.
• Ability to be trained and licensed/certified to operate forklift equipment by ABC Supply Interiors.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist during shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.
• Accurately distribute and place specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket.
• Examine and record material transported to/from the delivery site.
• Verify and record the quantity and type of materials handled.
• Ensure delivered product is neat, orderly, and presentable.
• Clean up debris from the delivery process and dispose of it properly.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently; assist with delivery to customers or jobsites as needed.

The Helper / Stocker provides delivery support to the ABC Supply Interiors branch location.
