Job summary

American Furniture Rental in Hialeah, FL is seeking a Warehouse Helper to assist in packing, wrapping, staging orders and vehicle loading. You will work closely with the driver and warehouse team to keep the facility organized and shipments moving.

The role requires ability to lift up to 75 pounds, basic English, and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior inventory/packing experience is a plus. A clean background and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Package and wrap product in compliance with company practices.
• Assemble product and stage orders as directed by management.
• Wrap product with plastic wrap, furniture blankets and label accordingly.
• Use a hand truck or pallet jack as needed.
• Protect furniture and load/secure it safely.
• Assist the Driver in keeping truck cab and cargo area clean and organized.
• Report repairs or damages to management.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Package and wrap product in compliance to company best practices.2. Assemble product, and or stage orders as directed by management1. Wrap product with plastic wrap, furniture blankets and label accordingly2. Use a hand truck, palette jack as needed.3. Protect furniture, load and secure in a safe manner4. Assist the Driver in maintaining a clean, organized truck cab and cargo area5. Report any needed repairs to management as damages or issues occur6.
