Vinfen is seeking an IT Helpdesk Associate to provide entry-level end-user support in Cambridge, MA. You will handle hardware/software setup, troubleshoot issues, and maintain inventory while documenting tickets and supporting IT processes.
The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and the ability to train users with varying technical levels, along with familiarity with Windows 10, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
The IT Helpdesk Associate provides entry level help desk support directly to Vinfen end users and to critical internal IT functions. Work also includes data entry and verification ofsystem jobs and processes, as well as administrative tasks, as needed for the IT Department.

Typical Requirements: Two to three years’ experience in the field or related areas.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's degree in computer science or related field strongly preferred.
May be called on to drive for Vinfen using either a Vinfen van or personal vehicle. A valid driver's license must be presented at the time of employment. Incumbents must be at least 21 years of age, have maintained a valid US driver's license for at least six months, and must be able to pass a driver's screening background check. If driving, must maintain a safe driving record, which is subject to annual checks. If using a personal vehicle, must possess and maintain adequate insurance.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques. No staff will lift any object greater than 50 pounds without a mechanical lifting device, such as dollies, hand trucks, and lift trucks.
Ability to stand, file, sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl around a facility.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer.Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time as needed.
Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand, and move around the facility.
Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
