Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. Join Air Evac Lifeteam's mission to deliver critical care by air, coordinating with dispatch and flight crews to ensure patient safety and timely transport.

This role requires a strong flight background, FAA certifications, and adherence to FARs. A competitive salary, sign-on bonus, and retention incentives are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours with 1,500 helicopter hours and 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours and 100 hours night unaided (or 50 unaided +100 aided).
• 230 lb weight limit with flight gear and appropriate certifications.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for dispatch per FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Keep accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Participate in shift handoffs and update the Air Evac Lifeteam change board.
