Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for its customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services, with a 7/7 schedule and competitive incentive pay.

The role requires current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and medical clearance; substantial flight hours are expected for efficient patient transport operations.

Qualifications

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
  • Helicopter instrument rating required.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours minimum.
  • 1,500 Helicopter Hours minimum.
  • 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours minimum.
  • 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours preferred.
  • 200 Night Flight Hours (Helicopter) minimum.
  • 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM) minimum.

Responsibilities

  • Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight, comply with FAR and Med-Trans procedures, maintain cleanliness.
  • Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records for Med-Trans operations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Provide shift-change information per Med-Trans change-board procedures.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities
  • Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
  • Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
  • Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
MinimumRequirements
  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
