Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) Pilot for REACH operations. The role offers a full-time position, strong safety standards, and a 7/7 schedule to support critical medical transport.

Applicants must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a current FAA medical certificate, with stringent flight-hour requirements. Generous bonuses and on-duty housing accompany a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• USFS carding requirements: 100 flight hours past 12 months, 50 hours AS350, 200 hours mountain flight.
• 2,000 total flight hours and 2,000 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 1,000 turbine hours.
• Minimum 100 cumulative instrument flight hours; 200 helicopter night hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical experts to locations and facilities.
• Prepare aircraft for flight dispatch per manuals, FAR, REACH requirements, and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following the change-board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
