Job summary

Global Medical Response's REACH program in Steamboat, Colorado seeks a full-time helicopter air ambulance pilot. You will ensure aircraft readiness, maintain FAR/REACH compliance, and coordinate with dispatch and flight crews to safely transport patients between locations and facilities.

The role requires a current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and an FAA Class I or II medical certificate, with thousands of flight hours and rotorcraft experience.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours and 2,000 helicopter hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per FAR and REACH requirements, including aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

Helicopter instrument rating
