Job summary

Air Methods seeks exceptional pilots to partner with us and serve communities through air medical transport. You will ensure airworthiness, comply with FAR/AIM/GOM, and support a safety-first culture across 12-hour shifts. Relocation and competitive pay are offered.

Minimums include 3,000 RW preferred, instrument rating, turbine experience, and substantial flight hours. The program emphasizes safety, teamwork, and community service in a high-demand EMS environment.

Qualifications

• 3,000 RW preferred but no less than 2,500 RW
• 200 night hours
• 1000 turbine hours
• 100 instrument preferred
• 100 mountain hours

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight checks and daily flight log sign-off.
• Final authority for operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Ensure medical crew are familiar with interior and systems.
• Complete required documentation and conduct detailed flight planning.
