Job summary

EventMakers Entertainment in Akron, Ohio seeks an Industrial Alpinist to perform at-height tasks on industrial sites such as construction sites, oil rigs and wind turbines.

You will set up ropes and anchors, conduct safety inspections, perform tasks at height, and communicate with the team via radio, while following safety protocols. Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial alpinism or rope access is required.
• Ability to work comfortably at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for working effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments before beginning work.
• Set up and maintain ropes, anchors, and other equipment for safe access.
• Perform tasks such as cleaning, painting, welding, and installation at height.
• Communicate with team members via radio or hand signals.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Keep detailed records of work completed and any issues encountered.
