Title: Relationship Manager – Commodities & FX OTC Hedging (Mexico Market)

Location: Miami, USA or Mexico City, Mexico

Imperium Commodity Search is confidentially retained by a global OTC Hedging and Structured Solutions provider to the agricultural and soft commodity markets. As part of their continued success, our client seeks a talented OTC Hedging Broker/Dealer/Relationship Manager to develop the Mexican market desk, covering commodities and FX.

You will develop and expand OTC business in grains, agricultural, soft commodities, and possibly FX in Mexico and nearby markets, prospecting new clients, engaging existing ones, and delivering risk management strategies to traders, producers, and manufacturers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and prospecting new clients in Mexico's agricultural markets and North American territories
  • Analyzing client risk exposure through fundamental analysis, S&D curves, and bespoke advisory solutions
  • Performing technical analysis to inform trading decisions in OTC markets
  • Guiding clients through price risk management using creative OTC hedging solutions from conception to execution
  • Conducting post-trade analysis and risk assessments, keeping clients informed throughout
  • Attending trade shows and conferences to promote brand recognition and network within Mexico's agricultural sector

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in agricultural/soft commodity hedging brokerage or relationship management, preferably in OTC markets or structured products
  • Exceptional communication and commercial skills
  • Broad knowledge of agricultural/soft commodity asset classes and associated risks
  • Existing contacts within the Mexican soft commodity and agricultural markets
  • Understanding of FX hedging/advisory services (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Ability to work in Miami, USA or Mexico City, Mexico
