Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler to ensure products move efficiently from receiving to shipping. You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory using our Warehouse Management System.

This is an employee-owned company where team members learn and grow into higher level roles. The role requires physical work daily, operating large machinery as needed, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Comfort operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS) procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship inventory.
• Cut wire and cable with machines and ensure accurate cuts.
• Load, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables per job orders.
• Maintain orderly, safe warehouse conditions and perform daily safety inspections.
• Process UPS and non-UPS orders via WMS and prepare shipments for transport.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify bin locations.
