Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) in Fort Hood, TX is seeking a Heavy Truck Driver to transport materials, equipment, and personnel onsite. The role requires a Commercial Driver's License and at least 4 years of truck driving experience.

The position is on-site with a 50-hour work week; overtime applies after 40 hours. Candidates must pass pre-employment drug test, background screening, have a valid medical card, and be eligible for a Tier-1 investigation.

Qualifications

• CDL required and 4+ years of truck driving experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
• Valid medical card required.
• Must be eligible for a favorable Tier-1 investigation.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between locations.
• Load/unload truck, perform minor repairs, and keep vehicle in good working order.
• Operate under the Eagle contract truck driver categories: Heavy Truck and Tractor-Trailer.
