Qualifications

• Three months of recent and verifiable experience required.
• Must be able to obtain appropriate driver's license after hire and maintain a clean driving record.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Check load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Crank trailer landing gear up or down to securely secure vehicles.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks like adding oil, fuel, radiator fluid, or washing trucks.
• Couple or uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth-wheel locks.
• Load hopper bottom trailers and deliver grain to ports or terminals or to market for sale.
• Load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using loading-related equipment as necessary.
