Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is seeking a Haul Truck Driver to operate heavy haul trucks and transport materials in a surface environment. The role requires safety awareness, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn. You may drive special purpose vehicles and will log deliveries while coordinating with Dispatch.

Applicants should have experience with heavy equipment and a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced field environment. MSHA training is preferred to support safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment and machines used on-site.
• MSHA training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive heavy haul trucks to transport materials over short distances in a surface environment.
• Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories (tires, lights, brakes, etc.).
• Ensure cargo is loaded according to safety requirements.
• Follow safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Maintain paper or electronic logs as required.
• Communicate with Dispatcher and other drivers via radio or onboard computer.
• May drive special purpose vehicles (e.g., end dump, center dump, water trucks).
