Gator Dredging is hiring a Heavy Haul CDL Landoll Transport Driver. Qualifications

• Three years' experience loading heavy construction equipment on lowboys, flatbeds or landoll trailers.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload heavy equipment on/off trailers (lowboy/flatbed/landoll).
• Drive tractor trailer, dump truck, or roll-off.
• Verify transported materials and comply with weight restrictions.
• Perform routine truck maintenance and inspections.
• Keep equipment clean; monitor fluids and grease daily.
• Report accidents, injuries, or faults to management promptly.
• Complete electronic pre/post-trip DOT inspections.
• Comply with DOT safety rules and regulations.
• Assist with mobilizations/demobilizations as needed.
• Provide own mobile device for required ELD app.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Heavy Haul CDL Landoll Transport Driver

Gator Dredging is looking for a CDL Class A Driver who is dependable, stable, and hardworking. Applicants must have least three (3) years' experience loading heavy construction equipment on a lowboy, flatbeds, and landoll trailers.

Starting Hourly Pay Range for This Position: $27.00 to $30.00. This is based on previous work experience and skill level.

Job Responsibilities for The Heavy Haul CDL Landoll Transport Driver:

• Load/unload heavy equipment on/off trailers: front end loader, long reach excavator, dozer, roller, lull/forklift, off-road dump truck and backhoe.
• Drive tractor trailer, dump truck, and/or roll off.
• Verify the type of materials being transported and ensure proper weight restrictions.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure the truck is in operable working order.
• Must clean the equipment, checking fluids and grease daily.
• Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management.
• Complete electronic pre/post trip DOT inspection report.
• Comply with all DOT safety rules and regulations.
• Assist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as needed.
• This position will include miscellaneous labor help on job site.
• Must be motivated and able to work independently.
• Provide your own personal mobile device to run required ELD application.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required.

Qualifications for The Heavy Haul CDL Landoll Transport Driver:

• Must have least three (3) years' experience loading heavy construction equipment on a lowboy, flatbed, and landoll trailer.
• Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with a clean record.
• Medical Certification: A valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Must be registered in the FMCSA Clearinghouse for pre-employment query
• Must be able to travel.
• Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
• It is Required to have a reliable transportation to and from work.
• High School Diploma or GED
• OSHA Certifications a plus.

Physical Demands/Work Environment for The Heavy Haul CDL Landoll Transport Driver:

• Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use sit, use hands, talk/hear; Frequently will reach with hands; Occasionally will stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell.
• Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift-up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds.
