Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Yard Coordinator to organize and move equipment on the yard in Washington, GA.

You will load and unload machines and attachments from lowboy trailers, log trucks, and track shipments with our system, while performing routine inspections and yard maintenance. Ideal candidates have a mechanical aptitude, a clean driving record, basic computer skills, and a commitment to safety. High school diploma required; experience with heavy equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how to operate heavy equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures.
• Basic computer skills to log shipments.
• Clean driving record and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines and attachments from lowboy trailers.
• Log all incoming and exiting trucks that come onto the yard.
• Log all shipping and receiving of machines and attachments in tracking system.
• Check in heavy rents and customer machines.
• Clean, fuel and perform pre/post inspections on machines.
• Maintain outside facilities and organize yard equipment.
• Inventory equipment in yard.
