Job summary

Baranko Companies in Dickinson, ND is seeking a Wash Bay Attendant to clean and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and support gear. You will ensure equipment is clean and ready for inspection, maintenance, and repair while following safety procedures.

No prior wash bay experience is required; training is provided. The role supports the Maintenance Department, operates pressure washers and cleaning tools, and keeps the wash bay organized and safe. Attractive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• No previous wash bay or heavy equipment experience required; willing to train the right candidate.
• Dependable with the ability to report to work consistently and on time.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive with limited supervision.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean heavy construction equipment, trucks, pickups, trailers, and support equipment.
• Use pressure washers, steam cleaners, degreasers, and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Remove mud, grease, oil, and debris from equipment before maintenance and repairs.
• Clean equipment cabs and vehicle interiors as needed.
• Keep the wash bay, floors, drains, hoses, tools, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Properly maintain pressure washers and other wash bay equipment and report equipment problems when identified.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate when additional supplies are needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Assist with general shop, yard, and maintenance-related duties as needed.
• Move and stage company vehicles and equipment when trained and authorized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
