Job summary

Allan Myers, a leading self-performing heavy civil construction and materials company, is seeking a truck driver to transport construction materials and equipment to job sites across the Mid-Atlantic. The role requires compliance with DOT regulations, pre/post-trip inspections, and safe operation of heavy vehicles.

You will work early mornings, evenings and weekends, maintaining truck logs and communicating any site or traffic issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Candidate must hold valid CDL A or B depending on equipment.
• Must pass DOT physical requirements.
• Experience with loading and unloading heavy equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches and transports construction materials and equipment to customer or job sites.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Communicate problems with traffic or site conditions promptly.
• Comply with truck maintenance and cleanliness guidelines.
