Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older; valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Five or more years of relevant heavy equipment maintenance experience or two years of technical training.
• Familiar with heavy machinery, hydraulics, electrical system repair and maintenance.
• Must read hydraulic and electrical schematics and operate digital voltmeters (DVMs).
• CANbus and PLC knowledge.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostics, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems on heavy construction equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance including lubrications, fluid changes, and minor diesel engine work.
• Maintain accurate written records of work performed.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and performance.
• Travel within the region to customer sites for training, maintenance, and repairs.
• Mentor and train apprentice technicians.
