Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in both shop and field environments. As an authorized Komatsu dealer, we offer training, support, and career growth across 27 locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in Diesel Technology or Heavy Equipment Tech preferred.
• apprenticeship or hands-on experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience on construction, mining, agricultural, trucking or heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and related components.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain repairs.
• Develop repair plans and determine necessary parts, materials, and tooling.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Prepare service reports, work orders, warranty documentation, and repair recommendations.
• Order and manage parts through company systems.
• Communicate repair status and findings with supervisors and customers.
• Maintain company vehicles, service trucks, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform shop and field service work as assigned.
