Job summary

EnergiPersonnel in Odessa is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Service Department. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery and crane systems, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The technician will handle a variety of cranes and construction equipment, interpret schematics, and perform thorough service documentation. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and diagrams.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Factory training certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Manitowoc, Grove, and Kobelco cranes preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience with diagnostic software a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must own or be able to obtain tools required for the position.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on equipment.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cranes, excavators, dozers, and related machinery.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to complete repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and office staff about issues and solutions.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and repair reports on time.
• Follow all safety policies and environmental regulations.

The Company is looking to add an experienced technician to our Service Department. We are seeking skilled professionals with verifiable training and hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and crane systems. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on company-owned and customer-owned equipment.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on:
  • Truck-Mounted Cranes
  • Rough Terrain Cranes
  • All Terrain Cranes
  • Crawler Cranes

  • Boom Trucks
  • Excavators
  • Dozers
  • Rollers
  • Other construction and heavy dirt equipment
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to complete repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and office staff regarding equipment issues and repair solutions.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and repair reports accurately and on time.
• Follow all company safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and diagrams.
• Valid driver's license required.
