Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a technician on heavy equipment.
• Mechanical trade school certification preferred.
• Cummins and Autocar experience a plus.
• Commercial Driver's License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections per service forms (A, B, C, D).
• Inspect and adjust brakes as necessary.
• Diagnose, test, and repair air brake systems and leaks.
• Perform brake replacement where needed.
• Inspect lights and repair as required.
• Identify defects in equipment and inspect hydraulic systems.
• Grease all components and inspect hydraulic lines.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics.
• Complete paperwork for repairs, document parts usage, and track time.
• Communicate defects and repair needs with supervisors.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
