Job summary

Pape' Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Rental Field Technician / Mechanic to service equipment in the field and ensure timely repairs. You will travel in a fully equipped service vehicle, interact with customers, and deliver high-quality maintenance to support rental equipment needs.

The role requires experience with aerial equipment, hydraulic/electronic repairs, and owning tools. A valid driver's license and the ability to work at heights are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience diagnosing and troubleshooting JLG/Genie and other aerial work platform equipment.
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs; diesel and gas engine repair.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service material handling and construction equipment in the field to maximize uptime.
• Travel within the service area in a fully equipped Pape' service vehicle to perform quality work and assist customers.
• Maintain safety standards and accurately document repairs and maintenance.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT RENTAL FIELD TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Rental Field Technician, you will work on material handling and construction equipment in the field ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, all in an effort to maximize our equipment uptime and support our customers and their rental equipment needs Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape' service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Knowledge of JLG and Genie and other AWP Equipment with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot; strong mechanical aptitude. Aerial experience is also preferred!
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs; diesel and gas engine repair
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 75lbs
• Driver's license with a good driving record
• Must be comfortable working at heights

Compensation: $34-42/hr (Depending on Experience)
