Baranko Companies in Dickinson, ND seeks a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to own the Preventive Maintenance Program, monitor service intervals, and coordinate availability for field and shop work. You will perform oil changes, lubrication, inspections, and fluid sampling, documenting results and ensuring field-ready equipment.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, safe execution, and collaboration with the Heavy Equipment Maintenance Lead to address developing repair needs and maintain

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of PM, lubrication, and basic repair.
• Must provide and maintain personal hand tools; company provides specialty tooling.
• Experience with heavy equipment, ag equipment, trucks, or lube-truck preferred.
• CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred; ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Able to meet DOT medical, testing, training, licensing, and driving-record requirements.
• Proficient with PM scheduling and work orders in HCSS E360.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete Heavy Equipment Preventive Maintenance Program by monitoring hours and service intervals.
• Perform scheduled oil/filters changes, lubrication, fluid checks, sampling, and seasonal PMs.
• Complete thorough inspections, identify leaks, wear, damage, and safety defects.
• Elevate major repairs or unsafe equipment to Lead; remove from service when needed.
• Document meter readings, labor, parts, fluids, filters, samples, and inspections in HCSS E360.
