City of Peoria, Arizona seeks a maintenance technician to service heavy duty equipment, perform inspections, and replace worn parts. You will grease bearings, check fluids, and take samples for wear testing while operating a field service/lube truck.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working 4-10 hour shifts, including some Saturdays and holidays. A Class A/B CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements (or eligibility to obtain within 30 days) is required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in a field closely related to these duties.
• Ability to lift and move parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work 4 - 10 hour shifts, Saturdays and some holidays.
• Class A or B CDL with an 'H' hazmat and 'N' tanker endorsements or obtain within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication on division heavy duty equipment.
• Inspect equipment according to maintenance schedules and replace worn parts.
• Grease bearings, gear boxes, and universal joints; check fluids and test samples.
• Operate field service/lube truck and maintain parts inventory; complete daily records.
