Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Heavy Equipment Processor in Houston, TX to load/unload equipment, operate forklifts and cranes, and ensure proper handling of goods within the yard and warehouse environments.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Steel-toed boots are needed for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Steel-toed boots/shoes are required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment.
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising/lowering attachments to facilitate transport.
• Work outdoors in all reasonable weather conditions.
• Read and interpret bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation.
