Job summary

Reeves Young in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our field team. You will operate trucks, dozers, excavators, graders and other machinery to dig, move earth and prepare job sites in varying weather.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, performing routine maintenance, checking fluid levels, maintaining signs and fencing, and coordinating with foremen and crew members to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as water trucks, excavators, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors and other machines.
• Transport and deliver materials to various job-site destinations.
• Perform street maintenance and excavation work; provide routine equipment maintenance.
