Job summary

JKL Associates Inc., a Division of PUSH Inc., seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely deploy fiber and power infrastructure using backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, and track hoe. You will work in rural and urban settings, perform routine equipment maintenance, and provide guidance to junior operators.

Must have field digging experience near utilities, ability to read prints and schematics, and a valid Class A CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Field experience with digging operations in rural and urban areas around utilities.
• Operate equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
• Provide training and assistance to co-workers learning to be operators.
• Perform routine labor (potholing, set-up of equipment, conduit/duct/cable placement).
• Drive tow vehicle hauling equipment to and around job site.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
