Heidelberg Materials in Granite Falls, WA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a 6-month temporary assignment. You will safely operate a range of heavy and fixed plant equipment to support daily aggregate production and ensure high-quality output.

You will perform pre-operational inspections, monitor material flow, and collaborate with team members to maintain safe, efficient operations while adhering to MSHA regulations and site safety rules.

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months.****What You'll Be Doing*** Safely operate a variety of heavy and fixed plant equipment to support daily aggregate production* Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks to ensure safe, reliable performance* Monitor material flow, production quality, and operating conditions, making adjustments as needed* Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities and maintain efficient operations* Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safety-first culture**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a mining environment* Strong knowledge of safety procedures with high situational awareness* Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues* Reliable and collaborative approach with clear and effective communication skills* Ability to follow operational procedures, adapt to changing priorities, and familiarity with MSHA regulations, with Part 46 training considered an asset**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing* Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
